Road & Mountain E-Bike Rentals
Although E-bikes are great, please understand that our tours have been designed to be ridden without motorized assistance by offering “bumps” along the way so that everyone can stay together. What this means is that one does not necessarily need an E-Bike to ride one of our tours.
Also, E-Bikes are not available for certain tours including those that involve camping. Please contact us for more information before registering for a tour.
A Couple of E-Bike Guidelines:
- In order to ride the typical distances on a Lizard Head tour while reducing “range anxiety”, E-Bikes should be ridden in Eco mode.
- Life at Bike Speed!… To promote safety and effective ride support, E-Cyclists should remain behind the fastest pedal biker on the tour.
Road E-Bikes
- The Scott E-Sub Tour has flat bars and is Powered by Bosch with a 500Wh battery. Equipped with a rack, it’s ready to provide many miles of worry-free reliability and comes with an extra battery.
- The Scott Addict E-20 eRIDE is a lightweight drop bar bike to make climbing easier and can go the distance comfortably.
Mountain E-Bikes
- The Strike eRIDE 920 offers SCOTT’s latest technologies together with the newest Bosch motor. Versatile, reliable, and accessible, the Strike puts the accent on the comfort with 150mm of travel, slicker tires, thicker grips and saddle to give you a solid choice for any outing.
