Not a day goes by that I don’t think about our trip. As I have told our friends and family, there are no words to describe it. I have kept the spirit of the trip alive by picking up a copy of Abbey’s “The Monkeywrench Gang.” Now I get it.- Doug

I am finally back home. After a few days of rest, and maybe a few more avoiding a strong wind, I went out for a ride this morning. My bike felt very strange and very small after a month on the Genius.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you guys for an amazing trip. Going in, I really didn’t know what to expect, never having been on a guided ride before. My initial plan was to see some of the beauty of Utah and get a little riding in. After stumbling across your trip on the Internet, I was intrigued and took a chance. Was that ever the right decision! It was a true adventure in the back country. I really loved the feeling of remoteness, of being completely off the grid, taking in day after day of spectacular scenery without any crowds, and the challenging riding through both the desert and the mountains. The snow and the mud didn’t hurt the atmosphere, either.
And yet, all this with the best outdoor cooking imaginable, fresh coffee waiting every morning and ice cold beer at night.
Not to mention a string of spectacular campsites.
You guys really hit it out of the park. I can’t thank you enough. I look forward to a future adventure with Lizard Head Cycling and would not hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone.

I loved the Trans-Utah trip, the bike, the guides, the food and the cowboy riding jersey, which I have not yet had an opportunity to wear. I am still tired and sore, but enjoying the memories.
