CRESTED BUTTE SINGLETRACK MOUNTAIN BIKE
Enjoy 5 days (or fewer) of camping and mountain biking in the remote Elk Mountains of south-central Colorado. June 29 is a new moon which means the skies will be dark and the stargazing will be wildly clear!
If you’re looking for prime singletrack, stellar campsites, the best swimming holes, wildflowers, and locally-sourced meals, this is the MTB tour for you!

Big Bend is the largest, most remote, and least visited National Park. Its landscape is the most biologically diverse in North America! Camp and explore the area’s surprisingly good singletrack and rugged Jeep trails.
Big Bend Ranch State Park is a designated “International Dark Sky Park” and you will experience a night sky that has largely disappeared from most of the United States. Plan to stay up after dark to experience unique astronomical sights during your stay in the park.

The itinerary explores the remote Redrock Canyon Country of western Colorado and eastern Utah between the San Juan and La Sal Mountains. The accommodations are some of the very best of any of our tours.

If you have already ridden our Hayduke tour, this point-to-point MTB trip explores even more of what Canyon Country has to offer. This region offers mind-bending geology, such as the San Rafael Swell that continues to amaze.
The riding on the Hayduke North is mostly on gravel bike type surfaces but we recommend MTB’s to more easily handle the terrain, plus there are two days of optional singletrack trail riding that you won’t want to miss!
